Verizon TCC and Verizon Wireless Zone will be giving away FREE backpacks filled with school supplies on July 26th! The TCC School Rocks Backpack Giveaway will take place on Sunday, July 26th from 1 – 4 pm at participating TCC locations.No purchase is necessary, and there is a limit of one free backpack with school supplies per child while supplies last. The child must be present to receive the backpack.Check the list of participating Wireless Zone locations and participating TCC locations to find a store near you.Here’s a little more information about why Wireless Zone puts together this giveaway every year:Wireless Zone, the largest Verizon franchisor in the U.S, is partnering with TCC and the Culture of Good to donate over 235,000 backpacks full of school supplies to children through the organization’s annual School Rocks Backpack Giveaway this summer.There are over 1,300 Wireless Zone and TCC stores participating nationwide!Preparing children for school can be costly. Two years ago it was estimated that the average person with children in grades K-12 would spend $97.74 on school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, and backpacks, according to the National Retail Federation.Your local Wireless Zone looks forward to helping community members with this expense through the giveaway! Backpacks will be passed out on a first come, first serve basis and do not require any purchases or promotions – just good community fun!
