Enlace Teves Yoldi!

Camp Lapu-Lapu, Cebu's Saint Jude Thaddeus Chapel was bathed in immaculate white the night Bais blue bloods were joined in the Hoy Sacrament of Matrimony. Young haciendero Tirso Teves, only son of Maricar Ayesa de Teves and the late Ramon L. Teves, married heiress Ana Maria Yoldi, youngest and only daughter of Marissa V. and Jaime Yoldi, in glittering rites that was the culmination of a long courtship and the beginning of a long, loving life together. Pedestals adorned with white roses, daisies, bougainvillea, lilies and dendobriums, crowned with three "I love you" candles, and draped in white satin lined the aisle.

The altar was a majestic sight! White silk curtains so artistically swathed were accented by dozens and dozens of white blooms with a tinge of green ferns. Again, a hundred or so white candles flickered to give the beautiful ceremony, officiated by popular Father Enrique Balongag, a warm glow.

The bridal entourage was led by best man Juancho Teves followed by the groom Tirso in the arms of elder sister, Iloilo's dynamic Marichel Magalona. Principal Sponsors were composed of close relations of both: Antonio Yoldi with Merche Berricano, Marcelo Ayesa Jr. with Chiqui Yoldi, Jaime Domingo with Ma. Luisa Yoldi de Domingo, Emilio Xavier Yoldi and Heidi Garcia, Don Manuel Teves, Jr. and Remedios Teves, Eduardo Bonnin and Ma. Pilar Yoldi de Bonnin, Jose Ma. Cacho and Lourdes Marquez, and Bais Vice-Mayor Francisco Villanueva with Ma. Lourdes Fleischer. Secondary Sponsors were her brothers with his sisters: Paolo Yoldi with Carmeli Teves - Varela, Jaimito Yoldi with Machalen Teves - Camahort, and Santichu Yoldi and Maite Teves.

Lovely bridal first degree cousin Vanessa Leslie Villanueva was maid of honor with "pretty as dolls' flower girls Sabina Margarita, Nuria Alina, Ainara and Mariana Luisa Yoldi, Beatriz and Sofia Magalona and Andrea Varela. ring bearer Paolo Eduardo Yoldi, coin bearer Juan Jose Ma. Unchuan and Bible bearer Lorenzo Iņigo Cacho were princely sights in knickers. Statuesque Ana Maria was radiant in an utterly beautiful gown of yards and yards of hand embroidered piņa, exquisitely done by Philip Rodriguez. Papa Jaime was just as dapper escorting her to meet her groom. The readings were done by Pauline Villanueva, Emilio Stephano Yoldi, Ma. Regina Ayesa, Raphael Teves and Carissa Garcia. The Offertory Procession was made up of Patricia Bonnin, Iņaki Yoldi, Malca Villanueva, Simon Diago, Jed and Dolores Unchuan, Geraldine Camahort, Jed Goņi, Carmen Antunez and Marcelo Ayesa III.

Guests from far off Spain, London and the U.S.A., and neighboring luminaries from Dumaguete and Bais (who came in full force!), Iloilo, Manila and of course Cebu's "alta sociedad" , dressed to the nines, filled the chapel and applauded the newlyweds.

Dahlings more on the wedding and reception next week! Till Then!.....................NOUS!*
